Lange Fresh Sales is currently looking for an Account Manager to join our Team.
The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with customers, shippers, producers, and carriers. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for business development, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will oversee the coordination of sales orders, maintain accurate records, and provide timely communication and solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success and growth of the company by fostering strong partnerships and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with existing customers, shippers, producers, and carriers to maintain strong partnerships.
- Develop new, profitable relationships with prospective customers, shippers, producers, and carriers to drive business growth.
- Track, schedule, and coordinate sales orders with precision and efficiency, leveraging strong organizational skills.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, shipments, and customer interactions while providing timely updates on shipment statuses and addressing inquiries.
- Negotiate effectively to facilitate purchasing, selling, and resolving issues to prevent delays or complications.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve shared goals while working independently to meet individual objectives.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the department’s goals.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and carriers.
- Proficient in time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of logistics, supply chain operations, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Communications, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in sales, logistics, or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or other logistics software.
- Demonstrated success in business development or account management.
- Advanced negotiation skills and experience handling complex customer or carrier situations.
- Understanding of market trends in logistics and supply chain operations.
