Lange Logistics is currently looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Team.

Lange Logistics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our Midwest Region office in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will support Account Managers with key responsibilities including sourcing carriers, dispatching loads, scheduling shipments, and securing transportation solutions. You’ll also help maintain and grow strong relationships with shippers, customers, and transportation partners. This position offers excellent potential for professional growth and career advancement within our dynamic logistics team.

This opportunity is available in the following location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor carrier locations and available freight, keeping Account Managers informed in real-time.
  • Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Confirm load details including quantities, temperature requirements, schedules, and delivery timelines.
  • Track shipments from pickup to delivery, including appointment scheduling for loading and unloading.
  • Compile, process, and approve invoice packets for submission to customers.
  • Address billing and payment inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with payables by completing the initial step in a two-step verification process before payment approval.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by Account Managers and the Vice President of Sales.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/​Experience):

  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with timely and effective follow-up.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/​Experience): 

  • College degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service in lieu of a degree.
